Learn to ride in a safe, supportive, and welcoming barn environment. At Flamingo Acres, we offer month-to-month riding lessons for kids, youth, teens, and adults.
Whether you are brand new to horses or looking to build confidence and improve your skills, our lessons are designed to help riders progress at a comfortable pace while learning proper horse care, safety, and riding basics.
Horses are provided. No experience is required for beginner lessons.
Our lesson program runs on a month-to-month basis, giving riders the chance to build consistency without committing to a long program upfront.
Lessons are available as group lessons or private lessons, depending on the rider’s age, experience level, goals, and availability.

Tiny Trotters - Ages 3–6
A gentle, introductory program designed for young children to safely and confidently meet, groom, and sit on a horse with hands-on guidance. Focus on fun, basic safety, and building comfort around horses.

Youth Riding Program — Ages 8–14
A beginner-friendly riding and horsemanship program covering the basics: grooming, tacking, balance, steering, and safe handling. Perfect for kids wanting to start their horse journey in a supportive, low-pressure setting.

Adult Beginner Program — Ages 15+
A welcoming program for adults who have always wanted to learn to ride but never had the chance. We’ll start from the ground up — safety, horse care, mounting, balance, and developing confidence at a walk and trot.

All-Ages Intermediate Program — Ages 10+
For riders with basic control at the walk and trot who are ready to progress. Focus may include improved balance, transitions, light patterns, or poles — tailored to skill level.
